Round 6: UPDATE

3rd June 2007

 Round 5 saw the seniors welcome Yarra Valley Old Boys to the panther pit. The reserves started off the day with a convincing win over Yarra who were clearly dominated all morning by OMFC's foward line, Bournon was inspirational with 11 of the best while at the other end Piran Gartner was very solid when Yarra got the ball in their foward line. This win puts the reserves into 2nd spot on the ladder, 4 points behind Oakleigh. In the seniors, Co-Captian Justin "Cozzie" Costello was able to inspire his team with his 150th game. CONGRATS COZZIE. The seniors continue on there merry way with 5 straight wins, Trent Mitvalsky is back to his best while Snowy keeps keeping on. It should be a big game this week at Keysy with Old Geelong being one of the top teams in the league. So make sure you are in attendance!! The 19's were coming off a great effort against Old Trinity and it seamed that the young panthers were still thinking about that win when they ran out at Scammell Reserve. With Oakleigh dominating all day there was little hope for the 19's as Oakleigh strolled to a 102 point win. Mitch 'Kibblet' Kibby was outstanding for the young pups playing his best game yet for the OMFC. Daniel 'Difference' Daperis was around everthing but these two had little help from the other boys on the park. UNLEASH
