Round 12: UPDATE

Round 12 saw the seniors and reserves face Hampton Rovers AFC while the 19's had the weekend off. The reserves started off the day with a resounding victory over 5th placed
Hampton . Anthony 'Tickets' Kiantos was dominating up forward along with Matthew 'Sticks' Stroud. After controlling most of the playin the first half OMFC were only leading by 14 points. During the half time break the players sparked up again and then put on a show for all to watch, kicking 7.2 in the third quarter to
Hampton 's 0.0. The panthers ended up winning by 52 points. Chris 'Wombat' Dwyer was controlling the middle while Juzzie O' Brien made sure there was plenty of run along the wings. The much anticipated game against Hampton lived up to its hype. It was goal for goal all through the first half with Old Mentonians behind by 13 points at half time. The 3rd Quarter, which is known as the premiership quarter saw OMFC scoreless and Hampton adding 2 goals to their score. Both teams scored the same amount in the last quarter which saw
Hampton snatch victory by 25 points. Better players for OMFC were Brad ' Crossy' Norton, Jesse 'The Guzzler' Prowse was again amazing up forward while Gareth 'Snoz' Snow was winning every contest around the ground.
