Round 7 was a massive weekend for the OMFC. The seniors and reserves faced a strong Old Geelong while the 19's faced third placed Ormond AFC. The reserves started of proceedings against the team they beat in last years Reserves Grand Final. Old Geelong were out to get revenge against the panthers, but the panthers didn’t let OG run over them, the game was neck and neck until OG got a couple goals ahead in the final quarter, but the panthers clawed back to make the scores even. With some great defence in the dying seconds from the backline OMFC were able to secure 2 points with scores being dead even. The seniors were next, having won 5 in a row, they were keen to make it 6. With a well earned break at Nachos Cantina on Tuesday, the boys were pumped to get off to a flyer, 8 goals in the first quarter saw the panthers up by 6 goals at the first break. Old
