Round 15 was saw the seniors and reserves face Oakleigh who were on top of the ladder in both divisions, while the 19's travelled out to Trinity Playing Fields to keep there finals dream alive. The seniors were ready for another big game, the winner of this contest would claim top spot with only 3 rounds remaining. With a blistering opening quarter the panthers were able keep on top of Oakleigh for the duration of the game, although Oakleigh were able to slowly draw closer to the panthers, it was not enough. Brent Fairbanks nailed 7 majors, while his younger brother Scotty 'Mad Dog' Fairbanks created non-stop run from the backline. In the end the panthers got home by 13 points. In the reserves game, the panthers were dominated early by Oakleigh, who are on top of the ladder, although a late fightback in the second half saw the panthers kick 4 goals to 2, it was not enough with Oakleigh running out victors by 23 points. Chris 'Wombat' Dwyer did all he could to get a panther victory while Matt Stroud kicked 3 of the 4 goals. The ressies are now equal second with Old Geelong. The 19's played 6th placed Trinity, and the young pups started off on the front foot. In the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter Trinity dominated and out ran the panthers. With little resistance from the young pups Trinity were able to add 15.11 to the panthers 5.7. Mitchy Brown was again strong in the foward line kicking 4 goals, while young Kieffer Smith-Cameron showcased his rare talents. This puts the 19's in a tough position to reach the finals, although stranger things have happened!! UNLEASH
