ROUND 13: UPDATE

30th July 2007

Round 13 saw all 3 teams playing at the Playing Fields. The seniors and reserves had bottom placed side Therry Penola, while the 19's had Bentleigh who were also at the bottom end of the ladder. The reserves started the day off well with another comprehensive win. The ressies werent playing the usual free flowing football up to half time, but when they came out after half time it was a different story kicking 11.3 to 4.2. The Seniors were expecting a tough game with Therry doing everthing to get the first win of the season. With a few new faces in the line up the older panthers were able to step up and dominate the game. Cam 'The Wall' Follett was again solid down back, while Snoz just keeps doing his thing. The 19's had to win against Bentleigh to keep there final aspirations alive. With Lewi Mitchell kicking 4 down one end and David Forysth saving goal after goal, it was near impossible for Bentleigh to get a score on the board. The 19's are nearing the top 4, with only 2 games out and a big game next week at Melbourne High things are looking good.
