R10: U19s won by 50

27th June 2009

The Under 19s travelled down to Mt Eliza to take on Peninsula , a team they had beaten by 11 goals in the previous encounter.

The home side started well and got to a nine point lead at quarter time. The young Panthers played much better football in the second quarter. Seven goals to one for the quarter saw our boys up by 27 points at half time.

The third quarter was an even one with neither team really able to take control. The young Panthers turned it on again in the last quarter with another seven goals to cruise to a 50 point victory. Ben Johnson was best afield while Jarrad Kay was again amongst the goals with a bag of 6.

Next week the young Panthers will be looking for another victory when they take on local rivals Beaumaris at the Keysborough Playing Fields.
