PRELIM Vs Hampton

The seniors had Hampton AFC at Trevor Barker Oval with the winner claiming the last ticket into C grade and a grand final. The Panthers and The Rovers had two tough battles throughout the year with both sides coming away victorious. The panthers looked in form early in the first quarter with the likes of Norton, Prowse, Twentyman and Palmer all dominating early. However the Rovers stepped up a gear and kicked 6 straight to go into the quarter time huddle 3 goals up. The panthers were unable to gain any advantage in the 2nd and 3rd quarters with the Rovers slamming on 13 goals compared to the panthers 3 goals to take an unbeatable to lead into the final change. With a disappointing show, The OMFC must be commended on a terrific fight back this season.
