The serious end of the season is upon and its time to help Unleash the Panther. Both the ressies and seniors played top of the table Oakleigh AFC at Trevor Barker Oval. The ressies started the day out in fine fashion kicking 7 goals in the opening quarter. Lewi 'Snook' Mitchell was dominating the opposition everywhere he went while Dale Messina created plenty of run off the backline. At the main break it was the panthers up by 7 goals and in control of the game. Oakleigh stood no chance against the faster panthers who were far more determined on the day, eventually running out victors by 67 points. That puts the reserves into there 4th straight grand final. The seniors also played top the table Oakleigh AFC who were dominant throughout the season. With a slow opening quarter the panthers got within 2 goals at the main break. Coming out after a rev up from Ben 'Specky' Mcgee the panthers kicked 5 goals to 1 in the 3rd quarter. Brent 'X-Factor' Fairbanks booted another 6 goals while Snowy and Shagga took control along with Billy Biggs. The 4th quarter was always going to be a ripper, and a ripper it was, with only a second left on the clock Oakleigh were able to score a dubious goal and take the lead and book there flight to C grade. Next week the seniors play Hampton AFC to gain a spot in the Grand Final and book a ticket to C grade. UNLEASH
